I decided to blog my way through this mess.  Hopefully, it will help me make sense of the next three or four months.   My diagnosis: Aggressive B Cell Non Hodgkins Lymphoma.  Treatment:  2 (maybe 3) treatments of RICE (I know the R is for Rituxan, more info later)  and then stem cell transplant using my own cells.   This involves 2 (or 3) four day hospital stays for the chemo and about a month in the hospital for the stem cell transplant.
Okay, so why the blog title, "Happy Just to Dance With You?"
This question:  "What is your goal in life?"   I was filling out a questionairre and it stumped me for a moment.  Then I knew.  My goal right now is to dance (in the kitchen, of course) with my great grandchildren.  Not to put too much pressure on my very young grandkids, but between all of them, I figure in the next twenty or so years....  I am including honorary grandchildren also, just to be safe.
Why in the kitchen?  It has long been a Rotondo custom to boogey in the kitchen.... whether it be a quiet weeknight when Mike and I slow dance to Van Morrison while dinner is cooking or a loud crazy steamy Thanksgiving kitchen with too many cooks and too many dancers sliding around, laughing, spilling, eating and knocking stuff over.... I LOVE IT.
 Peace, Liz
